Lake County’s Inspirations Gallery Celebrates 10th Anniversary

Inspirations Gallery, Lake County’s premier source for fine art and framing, is celebrating its 10th year Anniversary in the heart of Lakeport, at 165 N. Main Street. Resident artist and Gallery owner, Gail Salituri and Co-Owner, Sheri Salituri continue to offer a wide variety of artistic creations, including a wonderful assortment of Gail’s own work.

Those featured at the gallery include renowned nationally known artists Leonard Wren, Karen Noles, Howard Behrens, Barbara Sullivan, Cliff Myers, Eric Christensen, Howard Terpning, Pino, Paul Youngman, Garmash and Thomas Kinkade.

The tastes of those who visit Inspirations Gallery are wonderfully varied, Gail says. The artists that we have chosen to carry are each expressive in their own way with individual styles that appeal to different people in different ways. These are all outstanding artists whose work differs from my own which means that visitors to the gallery have a real assortment of excellent pieces to choose from. There are both limited–edition offerings of varied subject matter as well as originals, in various sizes and at a variety of prices, so there really is something for everyone. We also carry selected local artists, including John Clarke and more.

Gail’s own work continues to delight a growing audience, and she has established herself as one of the premier painters of Vineyards, landscape and still–life studies in California. Besides being featured at Inspirations Gallery, Gail’s originals are now regularly shown at the prestigious Lee Youngman Gallery in Calistoga, as well. Her expanding line of limited-edition lithographs is finding a growing audience in Lake County and beyond.

The latest in Salituri Giclees will appear this Spring of 2007, published by Shared Visions a self-published artist formed by Salituri which will feature Villa View III, a series of Tuscan views. This piece will commemorate the 10th Year Anniversary of the Gallery.

For a change of pace, Gail recently began painting koi fish, taking direct inspiration from the aquatic denizens of the koi pond in her own backyard and more importantly, estates of Lake County including new wineries and vineyards.

The Inspirations Gallery features not only original artwork and limited edition prints, but also offers custom–framing services. Co-owner Sheri Salituri is now directing the gallery and Frame shop while Gail is off Plein Air and studio painting.

Browsers and art lovers are invited to visit and look around to discover what is available. The Salituri’s believe that the paintings in the gallery and atmosphere should be a welcoming place where the works delight the eye and warm the heart.

I strive for that in my own creations, and want nothing less for the gallery itself. I invite anyone to come in and see what they like, then imagine bringing them a lifetime of pleasure and enjoyment as the art hangs in their own home or office where it will delight them every day.
